REAL FRIENDS

Aaaron has decided to leave his duties on the drums in Real Friends. There is no bad blood and we wish Aaron the best of luck with everything! SO!
We are now looking for a new drummer. We are going to keep it simple. Below are the requirements. Email kyle.fasel@gmail.com if you are interested.
-Must be 18 or older
-Live around the Chicago Land Area
-Able to get to Glenwood, Illinois for practice at least once a week for practice
-Able to play faster “pop punk” type of drums (The Wonder Years, Fireworks, The Swellers etc etc..)
-Able to play to a click track
-Have a nice drum set and a good ear for good drum tones
-Past experience in a band preferred.
-MUST BE Able to play multiple weekends a month and possibly tour eventually
-Have commitment and drive to play in a band
-Willing to do things outside of playing music for the band (promoting and business end tasks.)
-Must be somewhat financially stable to be able to keep playing in the band
-No drug or alchol users preferred

Hey there everyone,
It’s Kyle here..Hope everyone is doing well. I know we have been posting online over the past week that we have a big announcement..well here goes nothing….Im going to get straight to the point. Real Friends is starting over. We are not totally happy with the music that we are currently playing. Our hearts just are not into it as much as they should be. With that being said, we are going to be laying low for a little bit and writing a new EP. The style is going to be a little different, but we are excited for everyone to hear it..We would be fooling ourselves and our awesome fans if we kept playing music that is not totally from our hearts. We want to give you guys something that is so raw and real that we as a band can be 100 percent happy with the finished product. Thank you so much for all the support so far! Keep checking on our facebook/twitter/tumblr for updates of us writing and recording.
ALSO! August 19th at Centennial Lanes in Tinley Park, IL is going to be our last show for awhile, so we can focus on writing our new cd. We hope to see you there if you are from the area.
